Assens is a wonderful old market town with historic buildings and maritime atmosphere.

The coastal landscapes of Southwest Funen are quite unique. A varied countryside, bordering the Little Belt. The old fishing village of Torø Huse and the unspoilt nature of the Torø peninsula.
The cliffs at Sønderby Klint, 30 metres high and continually changing. Helnæs, the holy headland, offers history, fantastic scenery and rich cultural life. Experience the view from Frøbjerg Bavnehøj the highest point on Funen with its 131 metres. The Southwest Funen countryside is characterised by woods and manor houses. Hagenskov Gods manor is a listed National Monument. The current main building is built in neo-classical style and is considered to be one of the most beautiful buildings of the period.
